Gold Crew OSD dispersants remain the mainstay for use in subtropical and tropical waters. Gold Crew was the first Type II water-based dispersant listed on the United States EPA’s NCP Product Schedule, but it was removed when testing favored dispersant application from aircraft.
Gold Crew OSD is used from the platform or workboat, or as a vessel-based dispersant (VBD). Gold Crew OSD remains a dispersant of choice throughout the subtropical oil-producing world. Specially designed to be effective in shallow-water applications, it is also an excellent dispersant in deep-water environments.
